Excellent service. Professional, knowledgeable, on-time. Reasonable rates.

I tried to install a timer and some dimmer switches myself but ran into all kinds of issues. Dan quickly installed all switches.

We recently bought exterior lights for our driveway and main door, and we also purchased a Ring floodlight security camera for our driveway. We did some research to find the right vendor, and we selected Dan from GCCElectric. Dan came out and installed potlights in our dimly lit living room. We live in an older house with old plaster ceilings and mouldings so we were worried about possible damage. Dan expertly worked around them with zero damage and very little mess. Very clean and tidy and the finished product is exactly what we were looking for.

Dan added a couple of outlets for us, quickly and with minimal damage to the existing wall. Now our TV won’t have any wires dangling down. Very impressed with the quality of the work, even though it was a small job it was done right.

We found Dan through Google while searching for a reliable electrician who would do our electrics during a kitchen remodel and installing pot lights. Our outlets were at one end of the house & the breaker box at the other with a finished basement. Dan found a way to snake the wiring through the walls without cutting holes. Does work to code, He's a pro!

Dan was the Electrician from GCCElectric that we used for Electrician services and he was great, the service and expertise was everything I had hoped for when researching and inquiring for a professional and certified Electrician.

We had a variety of work done, removing fixtures, replacing ceiling light fixtures with pot lights, updating and replacing switches and outlets for various reasons and updating some outdated electrical fixtures that did not meet code regulations.

If you need Electrician services, I would not hesitate to reccomend this company.

He is a very professional and extremely extremely experienced electrician, who took the time to make great suggestions on which types of lights to choose , and how they should be properly placed for the best lighting
He can install any fixture , from pot lights , chandeliers that need proper balance, bathroom fixtures , new switches, electrical boxes / etc

He never leaves any mess to clean up , he always thinks of the customer

We had pot lights installed recently in our kitchen and laundry room and a few receptacles moved in family room to accommodate TV that we are installing above the fireplace. Dan is very professional, answers patiently all the questions and is always on time for the appointments. He is easy to talk to, he always answers the calls, sends detailed quote through e-mails and he sends reminder text messages for the appointment which I find very helpful. He also covers floors and furniture to protect from debris and cleans everything. He was very patient with our dog who is not friendly with people coming to the house. He is very knowledgeable about the products, gave us explanation for the security cameras which we will ask him to install for us. We highly recommend him for any electrical job. We will be working with him in the future.

I recently had potlights installed in my family room and hallway. Dan was very through measuring and ensuring alignment of the lights. The installation of the lights left no damage to the ceiling it was very clean work and he was extremely professional. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get electrical work done.

Potlights And Re-Wiring Of House

One of the best contractors we have used. Ladislav (also goes by ‘Dan’) did a fabulous job for us. He went beyond the call, worked exceptionally hard to get the work done, and was a truly nice guy. My wife and newborn baby were at home alone with him for a couple of days and she never experienced a problem or had any safety concerns. I wouldn’t hesitate to have him in my house and around my family again. As well, the quality of his work is great and he charges very competitive rates. I got more than my money’s worth.

Electrical Panel Upgrade And Pot Lights

They showed up at 7am as agreed, started on the electrical panel, the Hydro came right after, disconnected the power, by noon we had a new electrical panel, the ESA inspector liked the job they did. They installed additional 12 pot lights in the kitchen and living room, they used drop sheets, lasers to line up the lights.  They cleaned up before they left. We are very happy with the job they did. We will recommend GCCElectric to our friends.

Soffit Led Potlights

I contacted GCC Electric and 3 other companies on Homestars to provide us with an estimate on installed 27 LED recessed Soffit Potlights. I am very pleased I decided to hire GCC Electric. Dan was prompt and provided me with a quote on the spot. He was very patient and listened to my needs and offered helpful suggestions and options to provide me with what I was looking for. Within 2 weeks of moving forward Dan was here at my home to install the potlights. The installation went extremely well and in a timely fashion. We received countless compliments from our family, friends and neighbors about the lights. They make the world of a difference for curb appeal and visibility at night. Dan was the only person from the 4 companies who suggested the black trim and silver colour led light fixture which went perfectly with our black windows and black soffits. I would highly recommend GCC to anyone.

GCCElectric was very professional. They confirmed the appointment and arrival time the day before and about half an hour before the electricians arrived. Dan was very polite and completely professional. He provided useful advice on the project. Even though they work in every room of the house for a while to wire all the Automation systems and electrical, they used drop sheets and Vacuums, when they left the rooms were clean as they were never there. No damage to the walls or ceilings either. Everything works flawlessly. Dan even came back a few times to adjust the settings and programming and explain some advanced features of our systems. We would use GCCElectric for future work and highly recommend them.

My husband and I are very happy with Dan and the electrical work that he did for us. He ran wire and installed new electrical outlets in our basement and ran wire and installed 13 light fixtures. I was having issues with one of our circuit breakers. I was referred to GCCElectric from a relative. I called and left a message for Dan at GCCElectric and he returned my call within 10 minutes. He was very friendly and courteous and the phone asking for details about my problem. He said he would be able to fix it and if I would like him to come that day.

Dan came on time later that afternoon and checked out my problem. He took his time to not only check and repair the issue, but also explained what was happening. He was very professional and I will definitely use Dan and GCCElectric in the future. I am very happy with both the service and work Dan and GCCElectric provided.

We’ve called GCCElectric based on good reviews, Dan came the next day, walked through the whole house with us, tested outlets, looked at the electrical panel and the wires running in the basement. He sent us his quote the next day. After we agreed on the final price and terms they booked the work for week later. Before they started the work, they covered the furniture, used drop sheets, kept cleaning up as they worked through the whole house. The job took them 4 days. We are very happy with the results, they added receptacles, switches and pot lights as well. We will definitely recommend GCCElectric to our friends.

I was planning on renting my basement to a tenant and in order to do that/to rent I needed to be certified “ESA” by the government. I called a few companies and many did not want to take on the job because they would thereby become responsible. I gave GCCElectric a call and they came out in a timely fashion (within the same week of calling them) and they fixed everything in one day! I had the ESA final inspection and everything was a pass! I would give this company a 10/10 as they did an excellent job. This is the second time I have used their company and I have been extremely happy both times. I found them on their HomeStars reviewal page and would most definitely recommend this company!
